In My Head

Hush now don't let me wake you

Lie still, let the sand blow away.

We are together here to stay,

Never let yourself feel blue

The rush of blood, the pain of light

I wake to see the blur.

I raise my head, it's such a fight

Then I wonder where I am.

It takes a minute, takes a day,

Time has lost it's meaning.

All I see around me is not real,

My senses have no feeling.

The time goes by, my head is clearing

All becomes less cloudy to my eyes

I raise my head for real this time

And look upon the clear blue skies

Now is the time to carry on

Life is life, the fight is won.

I will show them what to do

After a seizure has laid you low
