Something new for tigger ...

Something new occurred today

It happened in a peculiar way

tigger was sitting, minding his own

When he had a very strange feeling.

Nowt wrong with that one might say

And yes, I might agree, on a different day

But this is Monday, and Monday is a quiet day

Not a day for ...thinking!! thinking thoughts even

Now why should tigger worry about that you say?

Thin edge of the wood they snigger

that's not like our furry, stripy tigger!

He's bouncy and flouncy and an all round joke

Not an Einstein, or a Newton or even Galileo to boot

Just a friend who knows not much nor ever will it seems

but is here when the world it seems at best it screams

For peace and quiet on a Monday and 6 days more

To last a long time 'till the world, it heals

At last the ringing of the bell peels

Saying at last the world is saved from the hands of man

By a little furry, stripy thing that bounced down the lane

and tigger thinking 'am I going insane'

Now that is something new for tigger
