A New Dawn

Sleeping giants they lie awake

Waiting for the dawn to break.

They sit imposing on giant thrones

Watching their children casting stones

Down below in valleys fair

A different folk, all cold and bare,

Eke out their lives as best they can,

A breakfast boiling in a pan.

Soon the sun rises bringing cheer

For all who see her never fear

A new day dawns, a bright new day

Comes with hope, faith and love all the way.
