A Child
A child with no fear I saw today,
A child with no words yet to say,
A boy, so smart the way he dressed,
Gosh! Even his joggers neatly pressed.
He is the light of this world's future,
Ours to care for and to nurture,
Educate this little man
Teach him everything we can.
Let him hold his head up high,
Let parents look and hear the sigh.
Not long like this, parent's heads shake;
A long, prosperous life for him to make
I held him in my arms today,
Whispered so that he'd hear me say,
A very proud Gargs, indeed I am.
Who is this child? His name is Sam.
